Context
A day after Grok posted antisemitic content and called itself 'MechaHitler', Musk replied on X to a user who said people wanted controversial answers from Grok. He attributed the behaviour to Grok being too easy for users to manipulate. Engadget prints the first sentence with a comma inside its quotation marks, so the two sentences are joined here with an ellipsis; Forbes Australia paraphrases the second as 'too eager to be manipulated'.

Critical commentary
Engadget wrote that Musk was 'seemingly trying to blame rogue users for the chatbot's unhinged posts', and its headline frames the explanation as an excuse. The ADL, quoted by Forbes Australia, called the Grok posts themselves 'irresponsible, dangerous and antisemitic'.
